Chalk Paint
Mix water, cornstarch, and food coloring and you have one of the most satisfying outdoor art materials around. This one is meant to be savored — set it up with plenty of time to spare and watch children settle into a deep, creative rhythm as they paint, mix colors, and cover every inch of pavement they can find.
Chalk Process Art
Shave chalk into dust and invite children to use it as their medium — smearing, blending, and creating in ways that are entirely their own. Best done outside where the mess is part of the magic and the results are always one of a kind.
Chalk Pizza
